Zenchat("we", "us", "our") operates a WhatsApp Business messaging and CRM platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
- Contacts you add or import — names, phone numbers, emails, companies, tags, and custom fields.
- Messages & media exchanged over WhatsApp through your connected number(s), so they appear in your inbox.
- WhatsApp Business credentials you connect (phone number ID, access token) — access tokens are stored encrypted.
- Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To send and receive WhatsApp messages on your behalf.
- To run the broadcasts, automations, and replies you configure.
- To provide analytics, reports, and support.
- To secure the Service and prevent abuse.
WhatsApp & Meta
The Service uses the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. Messages you send and receive are processed by Meta to deliver them. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's Business Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your data. We share it only with: (a) Meta/WhatsApp, to deliver your messages; and (b) infrastructure providers that host the Service, under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption of sensitive credentials and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
